I recently found out about Help Hope Live, a support community-based organization fundraising for people with unmet medical and related expenses due to cell and organ transplants or catastrophic injuries and illnesses.

If you are a transplant patient or the caregiver of a transplant patient, please utilize their resources. You can also help the nonprofit organization in various ways (campaigns, events, fundraisers). Click the link for more information.

I collaborated with the nonprofit organization, MendedHearts (and their associated MendedLittleHearts organization) to write for their blog, & help advocate for heart disease. The mission of this organization is to improve the quality of life for heart patients and their families through ongoing peer-to-peer support.

My latest project involves helping out with the Bravery Bag Campaign. Bravery Bags are given to children and families of children to help them get through their child’s hospitalization for heart disease. These children undergo heart transplants, valve replacements, and other open-heart surgeries. The link below will open up the Mended Little Hearts Bravery Bag Amazon Wishlist. Buying ANY of these items (anywhere from $5 - $30) will go to Erin from Mended Hearts. We then put everything into bags that are taken to nearby hospitals weekly. It’s a SUPER easy process, & shipping info is already included.

Interested in helping out DonateLifeAmerica? DLA is a nonprofit organization leading Donate Life State Teams to increase the number of donated organs, eyes and tissues available to save and heal lives through transplantation, while advocating for a culture where donation is embraced as a fundamental human responsibility.
